Kanokon Soundtrack (DVD 4 Limited Edition)

Trying to find a worksafe Kanokon image is tougher than one would think.

Included with the limited edition volume of DVD 4, this soundtrack includes 24 tracks of music suitable for groping shotas to. Out of all the ways music is released today, "DVD-exclusive" is no doubt the toughest to find. But it's definitely not impossible.

Sketchbook ~full color's~ Drama CD - Sketch Book Stories

"Tanpopo Suisha" (Ep 13 ED) is on here. That's what drew us in.

This is sort of a surprise release, in that even I wasn't planning on it until a few hours ago. But stumbling into greatness is what got Celonius28 started to begin with, so winging it will do. Five short drama stories revolving around the cultural festival, starring Sora and friends, and concluding with the lead trio singing the full version of "Tanpopo Suisha". The final component in any Sketchbook CD collection. And yes, that Kana Hanazawa sings on it may also be partially why.

Kamen no Maid Guy Character Song 3 Fubuki

320 kbps, scans included, and also a duet with Kogarashi.

Fubuki, the dojikko maid, the nail bat, the...tracts of land. It was just a matter of time before her character song album was released, and here it is. Two more TV size versions of "Wakugai!!" are also on the album. The only one left to go is Liz at the end of next month.

Mushi-Uta bug 04-06

The last of the collection brings songs by Hitomi Nabatame, Yukari Tamura, and Nana Mizuki. Nana Mizuki's character is part of the Mushi-Uta bug cast, compared to the other three character songs included, so that explains that much. Now, there's another release coming up this week if all goes just as planned, so keep your eyes and ears open!

Mushi-Uta bug 01-03

A rare combination character song/soundtrack/drama release, part one.

Tokyotosho's limitations allow the uploading of only five torrents at a time, and there's six of these in total. The other three will appear as soon as possible. By which I mean tomorrow morning. Now, as for the content...

Rosario to Vampire Capu2: Fall 2008 Pre-Report and Spring/Summer Post-Report

That I'm able to do a character song report before the show technically debuts is an odd thing in itself. This'll be kept in mind for the next State of The, but where there's news, it'll be reported!

At the end of October, the first four (I assume there shall be more. Mizore shan't be shafted) character singles for Capu2 will be released. As with the last time around, the singles have a song written for the girls, plus a cover of an 80's song. Not quite sure what the 80's have to do with Rosario, but then again, I don't really know what disco does either.

A Koihime Musou character song single for Kannu and Chouhi was recently announced. And Misaki's not on the Oinari-sama album, while it appears my instincts were off about the Strike Witches one. That's actually a complete ending theme collection, not character songs. Still a good bit of music to have, though.

He Is My Master CHARACTER ALBUM-001-003

Continuing from the maid theme established last post.


Each of these three albums includes a song for the girl on the cover, a second song (one of which is an Izumi/Mitsuki duet), a drama, and a solo version of "Aijou no Katamari". Overall, a very nice selection of music. Another Meido Monday is planned for a week or two from now, but that will arrive when it does. For now, enjoy.

September's End and An Abundance of Maids

We don't have any musical releases out (at least not for a few days), but rather, this is a look at just how many Character Song releases at this end of this month have maids in them.

There's the third Kamen no Maid Guy Character CD, the fourth Nogizaka Haruka one, and the third Zero no Tsukaima ~Princess no Rondo~ CD. Fubuki (and Kogarashi - there's a duet on there), Nanami and Hazuki, and Siesta, in that order. Of course there's plenty of other, non-maid character songs, but the timing of these three stand out as an amusing little aside.

Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas Day 3: OSTs

From all of us to all of you, the collection is complete!

When I said "complete music collection", I meant complete, and to wrap it all up is the two OSTs. The first one has a short drama section at the start, and the second one includes the CD-EX content that came with it, including a desktop clock, some icons, and a few wallpapers if you're interested. Naturally, they also contain BGM.

Continuing Celonius28's mission to get unnoticed or even hard-to-find music out there is continually fun. Even moreso when we make sure we can say something about every bit of music we release to acknowledge its place as part of the show it came from.

If you haven't heard of Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas before finding this blog, we recommend Lolipower as a great way to find recent and older anime series. If you have, glad we could help. Now, less talking, more music.

Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas Day 2: Character Songs

Each of the three CDs includes a character song and karaoke, a solo version of "Ai ni Oide Ai ni Oide", and a short message from the girls. Futaba's song, "Kotae wa Sora no Shita" was used in the series as the ending theme for the final episode, and the other songs aren't bad either. Just like the series, they're cute. Though Nana Mizuki characters are starting to run together in my head. Sieglinde, Utau, Riri, Feito - so many mysterious, emotionally cold blonde girls. Then there's Reverse-Moka. But that's another topic for another day.

Gargoyle of the Yoshinagas Complete Music Collection Festival Day 1: OP/ED Single

Though you have to admit, Yoshinoya-sensei no Gargoyle would make an awesome show. He's a stubborn stone gargoyle with magic powers, she's a childlike art teacher with a love of cosplay. THEY FIGHT CRIME! Starring Miyu Matsuki and Norio Wakamoto.

All kidding aside, Celonius28 is releasing the complete Gargoyle of the Yoshinoyas music collection, and there's so much of it we can't fit it all into one day. We begin with the single. "Ohayou" coupled with "Ai ni Oide, Ai ni Oide". Performed by Chiwa Saito, Yuuna Inamura and Nana Mizuki. Nana and Yuuna worked together on Koi Koi 7, and Chiwa and Nana will be starring alongside each other in Rosario + Vampire Capu2 this fall.

Koro-chan Pack Engine Sentai Go-onger 3

Ah, Koro-chan packs. Despite the name and the advertising, they're incredibly useful mini albums. Usually the first and best place to find new songs. I admit I was attracted to this one just because it had G9's song. G9 may not be able to do much but fly and shoot, but if it has a theme song, I will listen to it.

There are also two remixes included. One for the Wings, one for EngineOh. Neither of them gives the DDR treatment to the songs. Just a simple change in instrumental backing. The OP and ED songs are not included because well...we at Celonius28 don't believe in repetition. Scans are in here for the cover and lyrics to the two new songs.

Celonius28 Labor Day Pool Party: Umisho Characters vol.01-06

Ah, Umisho. The music for the show was handled by 5pb Records, and I'm in good standing with these guys. Almost every show they've taken on has character songs.
