This'll be our last release for the year. I expect to be just as active in 2009. Like the last Nogizaka Drama CD, this one contains some drama episodes and a song by N's. Because the wave of anime music never truly stops, N's will be getting an album released in 2009. I have no idea what's on there, but I look forward to it. There's some good voices in that group.

Two short dramas plus a new song by N's on the first of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu's Drama CDs. There's going to be another one of these next month, so just because Haruka finished doesn't mean it's done yet. Of course, Haruka and company aren't the only ones this season singing about roses, but I shall get to that one when the time comes. For now, enjoy.

Saint October Character Mini Albums

The GothLoli Detectives, subject of our latest release.


Ad hoc groups will always be around as far as anime is concerned - N's, MA*chu*RI, Aice5, and so on. Today we cover the GothLoli trio. You may know them better as the current voices of Sakura "Penguin" Nankyoku, Nia Teppelin, and several characters who are likely to induce lesbianism. Yu Kobayashi characters are usually good at that kind of thing.

Now with loliwolf-mbt subbing Saint October after it spending an eternity in the no-subs zone, time to wrap up the last of the releases. As always, several songs on these albums that can't be found anywhere else. Onward!

Nogizaka Mika's Mai Fair Radio Special CD

Comiket 74 special.


Our horizons continue to expand beyond "rare character songs" and into "rare CDs in general", but this one is two different kinds of unexplored territory - a Comiket 74 CD and a Radio CD. The theme song to the radio show hosted (and still ongoing) by Mai Goto, voice of Mika Nogizaka, is contained within, along with a special radio show. The title was translated as best as possible to convey the pun.

Nogizaka Haruka's music isn't done yet. Two drama CDs, each with a song by the group N's created for the series, are scheduled for the next two months. If they're overlooked, you can count on Celonius28 to look right at them. Onward!

G3 Princesses + Ii Jan! Ii Jan! Sugee Jan!?

G3 Princesses, on stage!

The first entry up is the G3 Princesses. Performed in GP31, this album includes individual songs for each of the girls, G3 Princess Rap, and the one-episode special end theme "Enjin Eco Rap". The song is a Green Aesop in musical form, but for one gathering all of Go-on's ED themes (and there are many), it's a good part of the collection. Once again, the first and seventh tracks (Go-on's OP and ED) are not included due to Columbia putting them on every album, thus making their reencoding here redundant and unneeded.

From start to finish, always at a climax!

The second entry is the complete album for Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O: Final Countdown, now in theaters. A new version of Climax Jump, as well as individual versions for each of the Taros' (sorry, Sieg and Deneb) are on here, as well as dialogue versions and a piano form of Climax Jump. For both of these albums, scans are included for just about everything, and the sound quality is perfect. Enjoy.

Smile Mankai, Kira Kira Sekai

While on my daily looking around at the Animate website, I happened upon some news for releases that tickles my fancy.

Strike Witches will be getting a Character Song album, though that was almost inevitable with the seiyuu cast in it. Also, the Character Song album will have no pants. Though you probably could've guessed that.

Wagaya no Oinari-sama is also getting a Character Song album. Unless the show is on the absolute edge of seriousness, really, most shows get one these days. Yukana as Kuugen Tenkou, Yui Kano as Misaki Sakura, and Saori Hayami as Kou are among the voices that will be on this album.

Just to show that, yes, I also cover tokusatsu, Enjin Sentai Go-onger has confirmed a "Go-on Girls" mini-album. The female duo on the show hasn't been called attention to since Dekaranger, and with the bright and bubbly Saki and the ojou-type brother-crushing absolutely insane when she gets worked up Miu contrasting each other, I await this release as much as I await every musical release.
